Olive trees (Olea Europaea)

An olive tree - the so-called sister-plant of wine - has a well known special kind of flair. Less known is the possibility to plant out an olive tree in an pannonian garden or to have an olive grove between Austria's wine groves.

An olive tree is really undemanding concerning work and water. When planting the right olive variety on the right substrate, the olive tree will thank you with its exotic flair in the mildest areas of Austria. Some olive trees with different age can be seen at the site of Pannonia Palmen KG. They are planted our there since years.
